The 2021 Kerrville River Festival is a celebration of getting outdoors and Kerrville’s incorporation and heritage.
The 2021 Kerrville River Festival, scheduled for October 16, 2021, is expanding this year to inspire and motivate community members to get outside for a fun day of outdoor adventure. It’s a combination of Get Outdoors Day activities along with celebrating the Annual Anniversary of Kerrville’s incorporation.
Add a lineup of great entertainment and lots of kid’s activities and you have a great FREE event for the whole family. “Get Outdoors. Be Active. Play.”
Who doesn’t want to get out this Fall after spending much of the last year and more socially-distanced?
The Kerrville River Festival will now feature local booths, exhibits, and activities designed for good old-fashion fun for the entire family. The Kids’ Zone will feature a wide array of activities this year.
It amounts to a whole day of free family outdoor-themed activities and exhibits, concerts and thrill shows, and fun things to do for kids. The day’s fun ends with a celebratory fireworks show.
Exhibits, games, kids’ zone, exercise classes, fun run, volleyball tournament, performances and much, much more.
Basement Brewers of Texas will take on the Craft Beer Run for the 2021 Kerrville River Festival. Look for online registration as we get nearer to the event. Previous Craft Beer Runs featured race shirts, beer and snacks for the registration fee. The Run will start at 8:00 a.m. in Louise Hays Park. Stay tuned for further details.
The Kerrville River Festival is pleased to have the Kerrville Sand Volleyball Association sponsor this event. This 4’s, 8-team, coed tournament will be a single elimination event and will take place at the volleyball sand courts at the back entrance to Louise Hays Park. Come out and watch great hometown volleyball.
The Kerrville River Festival expanded Kids’ Zone will have lots of things to occupy kids throughout the afternoon. This fenced off area will offer an array of great fun activities. There will be bounce houses, rock walls, bungee jumping, balloon artists, a trackless train, and other pursuits to occupy them while their parents get to visit with exhibitors. Stay tuned as we add more activities to this major focus of the Kerrville River Festival.
