Welcome to the
Kerrville River Festival

September 17, 2022 at Louise Hays Park
A Free Celebration of Heritage and culture
Brought To You By The City of Kerrville Parks and Recreation Department
The Kerrville River Festival is a celebration of the heritage and culture of Kerrville, Kerr County, and the Texas Hill Country.
The 2022 Kerrville River Festival is scheduled for September 17, 2022, at Louise Hays Park.
The 2022 event will build on last year’s successful event and will be expanding again to make it bigger and better. There will be more community performances, more exhibitors, a bigger KIDS Zone, pre-festival events, more vendors, and other activities for a full day of family fun. This year’s Festival features a separate community stage with performers from local community performing arts organizations showcasing the culture they bring to the area.
Follow that with a big evening of great concert and thrill show entertainment. The evening ends with a fireworks display celebrating the 133rd Anniversary of the City of Kerrville’s incorporation. It all adds up to a FREE fun-filled event for the whole family.

The H-E-B Kids Zone and Exhibitors (Noon to 6:30 p.m.)
The Kerrville River Festival expanded H-E-B KIDS’ Zone will have lots of things to occupy kids throughout the afternoon. This fenced off area will offer an array of great fun activities. There will be bounce houses, rock walls, bungee jumping, face painters, a trackless train, and other pursuits to occupy them while their parents get to visit with exhibitors.
The 2022 Kerrville River Festival KIDS Zone is sponsored by H-E-B Corporate Public Affairs Division.
With the help of additional sponsors we hope to add a KIDS Stage featuring kids acts as well as additional activities and strolling characters to the event. Our hope is to make this a major focus of the Kerrville River Festival.
With even more Exhibitors and vendors at this year’s festival, there will be a lot to see. Come visit with the volunteers staffing the booth for community organizations as well as those selling items at this year’s expanded Kerrville River Festival.
