The 2021 Kerrville River Festival is a celebration of getting outdoors and Kerrville’s incorporation and heritage.

The 2021 Kerrville River Festival, scheduled for October 16, 2021, is expanding this year to inspire and motivate community members to get outside for a fun day of outdoor adventure. It’s a combination of Get Outdoors Day activities along with celebrating the Annual Anniversary of Kerrville’s incorporation.

Add a lineup of great entertainment and lots of kid’s activities and you have a great FREE event for the whole family. “Get Outdoors. Be Active. Play.”

Who doesn’t want to get out this Fall after spending much of the last year and more socially-distanced?

The Kerrville River Festival will now feature local booths, community showcases, exhibits, and activities designed for good old-fashion fun for the entire family. The Kids’ Zone will feature a wide array of activities this year.

It amounts to a whole day of free family outdoor-themed activities and exhibits, concerts and thrill shows, and fun things to do for kids. The day’s fun ends with a celebratory fireworks show.

KERRVILLE CRAFT BEER RUN

KERRVILLE CRAFT BEER RUN (8:00 A.M.)

Join us for our 3rd annual Kerrville Craft Beer Run.  This a family-fun event that combines the beauty of Kerrville’s natural resources and the taste of Kerrville-made beer!

This timed out-and-back 5k will be held in Louise Hays Park and entirely on the Kerrville River Trail.  T-shirts, snacks, and awards will be offered to all entrants, and of course, plenty of fresh Kerrville-made beer from Basement Brewers of Texas and Pint & Plow Brewing Co.
All proceeds will be used to plant native trees within the City of Kerrville Parks system.

ENTRY FEES

$30 per participant
Be among the first 50 registered and get a $5 discount
(*Must register by September 14th to be guaranteed a race t-shirt)

P31 Fitness

P31 FITNESS (8:30 A.M.)

P31 will be doing a low impact cardio kickboxing class appropriate for any fitness level.

Kerrville Sand Valleyball Association

Kerrville Sand Volleyball Association Tournament (9:00 a.m.)

The Kerrville River Festival is pleased to have the Kerrville Sand Volleyball Association sponsor this event. This 4’s, 8-team, coed tournament will be a single elimination event and will take place at the volleyball sand courts at the back entrance to Louise Hays Park. Come out and watch great hometown volleyball.

The Center for Fitness (Zumba)

Center For Fitness Zumba®️ Class (10:00 A.M.)

Zumba®️ class feature exotic rhythms set to high-energy Latin and international beats: salsa, merengue, cumbia and reggaeton. There’s no other fitness class like a Zumba®️ Fitness-Party. It’s easy to do, effective and totally exhilarating.

Kids Zone and Exhibitors (Noon to 6:30 p.m.)

The Kerrville River Festival expanded Kids’ Zone will have lots of things to occupy kids throughout the afternoon. This fenced off area will offer an array of great fun activities. There will be bounce houses, rock walls, bungee jumping, balloon artists, a trackless train, and other pursuits to occupy them while their parents get to visit with exhibitors. Stay tuned as we add more activities to this major focus of the Kerrville River Festival.

With approximately 25 Exhibitors at this year’s festival, there will be a lot to see. Come visit with the volunteers staffing the booth for community organizations as well as those selling items at this year’s expanded Kerrville River Festival.

Community Organizations Pop-Up Showcases: (10-to-15-minute performances)

Relevé Dance Studio:

Relevé Studio's offers a variety of dance ranging from ballet, tap, adult Barre, Texas Swing Dance lessons and much more! Dancers will perform 5 dances ranging from ballet solos to group musical theatre performances. All dancers are competitive dancers and have been dancing for quite some time.

Big Seed

Big Seed provides a medium for youth throughout the Texas Hill Country to explore and develop their artistic passion. Tara Shultz, a member of Big Seed, will be performing a set of alternative pop/pop and classic rock songs for their pop up performance.

Hill Country Chorale

The Hill Country Chorale, an entity of the Hill Country Vocal Arts Society is Kerrville's community chorus is to serve as a dynamic resource through which the vocal arts are introduced, networked, maintained and performed in the Texas Hill Country. The Chorale will be singing 15 minutes of our Music Amaricana concert which will be performed for Veteran's Day in November. Patriotic, folk and spirituals will be sung.
